If you haven't heard, Phil Robertson has been suspended from his show "Duck Dynasty" on A&E for an opinion he gave in a GQ interview about homosexuals. GQ has taken quotes out of the interview to launch an anti-Christian war. If you actually read the whole interview, Robertson talks about gays right before he talks about sin. You can clearly tell that Phil Robertson is anti-sin NOT anti-gay. To start with, he did not single out homosexual behavior; he listed over a half-dozen sins, including adultery, greed, bestiality, drunkenness, idolatry, etc. Phil Robertson is simply anti-sin, believes all should love one another, and believes we can all be saved through the grace of Jesus Christ.
Only the media could be offended by that. He simply stated his beliefs and should not have been criticized for doing this. He was illustrating what the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:8-10, "No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren! Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." I stand by Phil and the Duck Dynasty crew 10000000000%.
